hi. My address is 50 Wheatley Road, Glen Head, NY 11545. My house is off of Wheatley Road, on Leone Court (after Paddock Court). First, Leone Court doesn’t appear on Waze. And second, it either highlights that I live on Paddock Court or gives directions off of Brookville Road which both are wrong. Can this be fixed? I am uploading a picture of the map with location.
Hello! I’ve added Leone Ct. to the map in Waze, which you should see reflected in a few days in the app. I couldn’t find a street sign indicating that the road is called Leone Ct, but I’ll trust your local knowledge of the area. I’ve referenced aerial imagery from the Nassau County GIS site as well as from Waze Map Editor to do my best guessing the shape of this road (imagery seems to be out of date and/or tree covered). I’ve also added address points for 50, 52, 54 and 56 Wheatley Rd that should navigate onto Leone Ct once it goes live in the Waze app.
Please note that after Leone Ct shows up in the app, you’ll want to delete 50 Wheatley from your home, favorites, and history to purge the old location stored in your app memory. This will force Waze to retrieve the new location from the server when you search for it again.
