Address on Alt State Rt shows point in State Route

The address 3371 Alternate State Route 49, Arcanum, Ohio is on the corner of 49 and Alt 49. If you enter it in the app it places the end point in the middle of 49, behind the house and there is no way to reach the house from there. You have to go on Alt 49.

To complicate matters my driveway comes off a private lane/shared driveway, so to reach the address correctly you have to actually leave the road. If you search within the editor the address doesn’t even show. Probably means it is being filled by Google.

For some unknown reason the road is locked level 3 even though most information, like addresses, doesn’t seem to be filled. I wonder why it would be locked like that.

You are correct that the app was picking up the address from Google.

I have made a few adjustments that should solve the problems. It may take a few days to reach the app.

Here is what I did.

  1. I added a parking lot road (PLR) so that the directions will take you off of Alt 49
  2. I added a residential place point (RPP) for your address so that you should be routed to your driveway

As for why the segment is locked at 3, that is the locking standard for that road type and has nothing to do with information being filled in.

Thank you for both the corrections and the explanation. The lock points aren’t really clear in the instruction videos and searching for such a basic fact on a forum this large is usually a waste of time. Information overload is a fast way to give me a headache!
