I’m probably not in the proper section but I know other editors will see it here so its good for me.
I was looking at the work that was done close by and saw this strange addressing.
Someone added an address on a segment that is a right hand turn to an other street. I can zoom in to a lvl8 (thats at 10m) and I can hit the “H” key and nothing happens.
Why is that?
Thanks for the enlightenment.

No-name streets shouldn’t be able to get numbers… Did the connecting segment have a name?
Also, did you try selecting the segment, then looking for the “edit house numbers” button on the left?
And one more: did you have any unsaved changes?
Yes
Not available
No I just opened Chrome.
Here are two scree shots of the street.
Thanks

Actually, that is “no name”
Give it a name, save it, then see if you can edit house numbers.
Not in front of my pc at this moment. But just a thought. If the name is no name. Why can’t I hit the H key and get the address? Heck I will try it on my tablet.

Ok after saying a couple Words with my tablet a finally got to the street segment. So here is a picture of the segment on my tablet. The No name is checked and I’m the last one that edited the segment. I changed its shape a bit.
Thanks

You can’t give a “no name” street numbers.
Think of it this way. What would this look like on a mailing label:
Jean Claude

Montreal, QC

If you give it a name (say “a”), apply & save, you should be able to get into house numbers. Once you’ve removed the number (and saved), change the segment back to “no name”.
