Hi Waze SA team,

My name is Brad Conlin, and I manage the digital presence for CFAO Mobility South Africa through my agency, Bear Digital. CFAO is one of the largest automotive dealer networks in SA, with over 100 dealerships nationwide across brands like Toyota, VW, Isuzu, Hino, Kia, Suzuki, and more.

I am currently in the process of ensuring all CFAO dealerships are correctly represented on Waze, with accurate:

  • Dealership names (brand + location)
  • Addresses & GPS coordinates
  • Phone numbers
  • Opening hours
  • Website links

I noticed many existing dealership places are locked above my level, and some are missing altogether. Since this rollout spans multiple provinces, I would like to request Area Manager (AM) access for the regions covering our dealership footprint, so I can:

  • Add missing dealerships
  • Correct existing info (website, phone, trading hours)
  • Ensure pin placement is accurate (vehicle entrance, not office block)

This is an official project on behalf of CFAO Mobility, and all details will be taken from our verified Google Business Profile data.

Please let me know if there are any requirements you’d like me to complete (drive logs, training, etc.) to qualify for AM status. I am happy to provide dealership lists and proof of addresses if needed.

Thanks for reaching out. I’ll trigger our contact at Waze HQ to see whether there may be some way to deliver the correct info to them in some special format so that they can import this. That would save a lot of manual work. It may take some days to get a response.

@boonie-oet-gelaen keep in mind that the info would need to be vetted first, make sure that South African naming standards are followed.

@BearDigital welcome to waze. Can i suggest you change your username to something else (not the default world one) both on waze and on this form.

It is easy to do.

if you want to point out some incorrect venue, we are more than happy to fix them up.

I think the main concern is some dealership aren’t listed, are in the wrong location slightly and contain incorrect website link and contact information. CFAO want it to match GMB listings which are all in place and up-to date

If they are not listed, waze will pick up the google place location. Ideally we would need to start with the places that were added to waze and correct them.
