My name is Leonardo and I’ve recently joined the Waze Communities Team in Tel Aviv. I’ll be the New Community Manager for Denmark, starting today.
I’m super excited to start this new adventure and very happy to work with you.
Few words about me:
I was born and raised in Milan (Italy): I moved to Israel 7 years ago and I’ve managed communities for a High Tech company in the area of Sport Journalism in the past years. I currently live in Tel Aviv.
I want to take this opportunity to thank Ruben for all his efforts and work for your Community over the past years and wish him all the best in his new projects at Waze.

I can tell you a little about the map.
The map is fairly straightforward. We don’t have any HOV roads or License Plate restrictions, and there’s only three toll roads (one shared with Sweden). We have speed limits on all freeways, major highways and minor highways. Primary street is close to being done as well.
The roads are locked at a slightly lower level, than other countries due to the level of active editors.
I started a Road Shield project with Ruben, and I assume that I shall contact you, when we are ready for the next step. Right now I’m at the final stage of checking all the roads, and started to find Wazers for testing.
