Another Strange Routing Problem

A friend of mine (and new editor), jbanni, has reported this issue in Warrington.

If you look at his trace data, it’s directed him off the main road to navigate around one segment, then back on again. I can see no reason for it doing this at all. He tells me that traffic at the time was minimal and there were no reports of issues that had been left on the road.

Any clues?

No clues that I can see and the livemap doesn’t choose that route by default either.

That is odd. Livemap thinks the indirect route is quicker too.

I’d suggest deleting that segment of B5210 and redrawing it. Wait and see if that fixes the routing.
