Hey, still new here.
If I understand correctly, that connecting road at Wellington/King is not configured correctly, NB banned right turn to connecting road, but allowed at the intersection.
Exactly the same wrong configuration at Victoria/Weber.

Highway 8 SB: not sure why the mainline (to 401) is also marked as a ramp; should be full freeway (current road config is 4 lanes to To 401, 2 off ramp); obviously not a big issue

Sportsworld Dr EB: left turn to Sportsworld Crossing is actually busses only. Made that mistake once.

Lord Seaton and the 401 ramp physically intersect, with presumably forward movement only. Currently wrong elevation.

Lots of little things, but just wanted to make sure I understand the Wiki right. I don’t have editing rights to a lot of these places, and still a 1 cone.

Albert St SB must turn left onto Caroline; after the connecting road, it’s one-way, northbound.

This is being mapped as a “Turn right”. Angle needs be reduced… LEVEL 5.

This street is Ring Rd (not sure where the ‘Iron’ came from). I would re-classify the entire street as a street since although on University grounds, there is no restriction on traffic (busses and trucks all go through; there are no gates either), with a standard 40kph speed limit.

I don’t think they took down the Dundas Rd bridge; Samuelson St runs under the bridge. (Although no turning allowed, i’m not sure if the node will penalize traffic)

unlock to level 1? there’s some errors with turning/street type on these 3 streets

and it seems like the whole Region is overly aggressive on the minor highway thing–only a select few are. I’d like to upgrade them as per (http://www.regionofwaterloo.ca/en/gettingaround/roads.asp)

This is so that navigation works. It needs to stay that way. :slight_smile: I made it a lot shorter so that it doesn’t show as obviously.

I only saw one error – and that was street type on one segment. It’s fixed.

I’m in agreement – the same issue is there for Toronto. We’re trying to figure out ways of making it better… but not all the other country managers agree that they should be downgraded.

I feel K/W is the opposite–it doesn’t even have it’s Regional Roads (a la Ira Needles) for a minor highway. At least Toronto has its arterials from the rest of GTA marked as a minor highway.

Some of them I’ve fixed once I got write permissions to the area.

The turn configs into/out of Dairy Queen (SE corner) are too restrictive; there’s full movement on both ends.

I would have to take a look, but my feeling is that regional roads shouldn’t be highways. They should be primary streets.

In general, only numbered highways should be marked as such.
