Hi,
Having had an issue in hereford where I was city updating, and came across an issue with there being too many “Belmont” in the Uk I decided to head back to mansfield to update some streets. A task I started a couple of months ago and had been getting along nicely.
Well, that was until I had a look tonight.
Streets no longer with names.
One way sections of dual carriage roads travelling both ways (both sections!).
And there are millions of new speed cams! There Aren’t!!

I can safely assume these were created by waze base map importing (a-f*****g-gain) over updated maps info.
And these are more likely (but not necessarily) the locations for street signs warning of possible cameras.
Do this once more waze and I’ll be f*****g off.

Cameras in dead end streets and such like all over the place! Is this yet another waze account in disguise?

There was only ever 1 basemap import. The numbered users are just regular users, hit permalink and you should see their recognisable IDs!
“world_*” users are those that have not registered.
I’m forever finding cameras at dead ends, it’ll be folk trying to add them from their house not realising you have to be at the correct location!

Starting to take ages to save
I’m reviewing connectivity across London and finding loads of cameras at cul de sac ends. But these are not new ones, just no-one has ever got to review them until now.
Been working beautifully all morning but starting to creak a bit now

I had a spare 30 mins before work this morning so I thought I’d have a quick edit as I’ve not done any for two weeks (due to frustration at the lack of stability) …
I see nothings changed, upon my first save it (about 75 edits) it failed with an unspecified error, tried again a few times with no luck so I refreshed the page and then it wouldn’t even save a single edit
I was late start editing today (wife at home!) so didn’t do much before 9am. Since then it’s been ok, a but touchy but not huge problems.
of course, having written that, the road layer now seems a bit shy to show itself
