I’ve noticed recently that sometimes when you save a load of edits, sometimes they don’t show up on the map (remember that on cartouche?).
This seems to be more and more frequent and is frustrating as I can’t see what I have or have not done. I know then edits turn up eventually but I’m frustrated to the point that I’m gonna stop editing altogether till this gets fixed.
If you look at this permalink none of the changes I have made (yesterday and today) are visible.
I’ve tried both Firefox and Chrome and it’s the same also in Cartouche.
I was beginning to have problems last night and I know Mr Knight (why can I never remember his user ID?) has been having problems today too.
It’s a known problem with Papyrus that has existed since they moved to a model that tries to cache more map to reduce load times where the database and the editor don’t quite sync properly. Devs are aware and aside from infrastructure problems it is their top priority!
Yes, none of any changes I made showed up. Has been like this since last night.
May have something to do with This perhaps.
Pretty pointless trying to edit if you don’t know what you have done…
Annoyingly, I’ve finished up all my work, got home and I’m home alone till tomorrow lunchtime so I could knock out a few 1000 edits this afternoon/evening … but I can’t so I’ll have to find something else to do!
