I think it’s extremely unlikely any edits will be lost.

That’s the client tiles, not the editor edits.
I can verify from my areas that some edits are also gone.
As with previous rollbacks, I’d suggest leaving the areas in question until the process is completed.
All the edits should be intact once the merge process is done. If you redo missing edits, you stand a good chance of creating duplicates.

Exactly how long are the errors going to be around for?
This happened on Monday (I think) and from what I can tell until the tiles are updated it can’t be fixed.
They’ve probably been partying all week and now it’s the weekend. I’d guess (hope?) it will be fixed by Sunday.
Well I hope it gets fixed soon… I update maps in the day job - waze editor much easier - so to have 1k edits just vanish, it’s just another day in the office… So no maps til Monday :?
I hope so too, it’s been a frustrating week not being able to get on with finishing off the area I was editing just before the rollback (especially since it’s outside of my AM area, so I’m up against the drive expiration deadline too), plus the near-complete uncertainty over the status of all our edits made in the few days prior to that…
…plus, all of the editor inactivity has given all those nice world_* users the chance to clog up the map again with badly placed cameras - just done a sweep of London and deleted over 200 of the buggers :shock: Still, always satisfying to see a nice clean camera layer again, and doubly (or triply) satisfying when you find a holy triumvirate (speed, red light and dummy cams all slap bang on top of one another) to nuke

Road layer is back again
Getting the occasional problem where some newly saved edits aren’t showing up when WME is set to the same zoom level at which the edits were saved, but will almost always show up immediately if I change zoom levels. Sometimes reloading WME gets the edits to show up at the original zoom level too, other times it can be several reloads required. It’s almost like the usual sync errors, but I don’t remember there being a zoom-related aspect to those.

Nothing today but I have noticed some recent edits I had done are now totally s***faced! I am of the opinion that some of that google money should be spent on servers and someone who knows how to set up über large databases… Maybe one per country…
