Anyone else having issues once you’ve saved your edits in WME, Noticed this on a couple of PC’s now. Added a new road clicked save, screen goes slightly greyed out (like when you get a window not responding in Windows) and nothing happens, end up having to refresh the page, the edits do seem to save, but its a bit of a pain as it resets the location elsewhere :evil:

Yes, i get it quite often. As you say refreshing the page is needed and (as far as i can tell) the edits have taken.
Install WME Permalink Updater, it changes the browser url to your current location so, when you need to refresh, you stay where you are.

To be honest I should know that there is an extension for just about everything by now! 
Yes, its been like this for a couple of weeks now. If you make sure that no segment is highlighted when you click save (i.e. click a blank space on the map so that no segments are selected), then it won’t happen. But if a segment is highlighted when you click save then its pot luck…

Thanks Kevin, that probably explains why the couple of edits I did worked, before it then started freezing when I changed a few road types on a new estate and saved (roads were still highlighted)

any other solution rather than scripts ?
Just make sure that no segments or places are selected before you hit save.
