Apple's own map data in iPhoto?

Could this be the first glimpse of Apples own map data in the iPhoto application? Maybe the same mapping data that may be used when Apple launches it’s own navigation application in the future?

Does any one that is familiar with other mapping data recognize if this is another map source vs. what is being speculated (in that it’s Apple’s map data)?

I am posting this as relevant to Waze since Apple releasing their own TTS enabled, Navigation application with traffic smart routing would be a competitor to what Waze offers.

Very interesting. I know this wasn’t the point of your post, but I’m getting more interested in paying $4.99 for this on my phone. I think I’d get $4.99 of enjoyment out of it.

Apparently it’s Open Street Maps (OSM).
