Appleton, Wi Road Closure

While there is a construction icon on Northland Ave (OO) & Ballard Road there are road closures for approximately 4 weeks. You cannot turn East or West off of Ballard to access Northland. I do not have rights to make these changes.

From the Outagamie Highway Dept:

County OO (Northland Avenue) will be closing to thru traffic for approximately four (4) weeks beginning on Monday, August 9th. A detour will be posted and will utilize WIS 47, I-41, and WIS 441. County E / Ballard Road traffic will remain open to a single lane in either direction with no access to County OO. Local access will be maintained to all properties adjacent to the project.

The road closure is required to complete intersection and traffic signal improvements at the County E / Ballard Road and Oneida Street intersections.

Thanks for doing that, also you cannot turn East off of Ballard onto OO, you have to go straight North or South.

is CH-OO closed on the east side of Ballard? or just the west side? the county website wasn’t really too clear on what exactly is closed. thanks.

Yes, CH-OO is closed on the east side of Ballard, to Roemer Road which is the next street east of Ballard.
The West closure starts .2 mile East of Hwy 47, that’s what the closure signs indicate.
