Steps to reproduce this issue:
Create & send a segment for review > Wait for approval > The segment automatically locks to your level

I submitted a parking lot suggestion with segment set to (Auto 1). After approval, the segment changes to 2.

I’m a L2 editor.

Thank you for sharing the feedback.

The behavior you described is expected: when a map suggestion is created, the lock level for the approved change (for example, new segment creation) is set to the editor’s level. You can check this post for more information.

However, as you mentioned, initially the lock level was auto set to Level 1 despite you being Level 2 and this is not the desired behavior. I will create an internal case for the team to look into the problem.
