Is it really a secret any more? Don’t like the new icon at all so I haven’t even bothered using the monster since the new upgrade :?

The on-map icon hasn’t changed at all, has it? Only the rendering in the menu has changed.

From my experience, the on-map icon remains unchanged.

Saw two monsters on my travels last week … looked the same as on the sig above. :wink:

Weird to hear you guys say that the on-map icon still uses the old one. From what I’ve seen, it’s been using the new one. Maybe it’s infrastructure specific?

I’ve seen that monster on an HTC Wildfire S. The one on my sig is what is visible on Moto Defy +.

I’m certain that the Monster mood, depends on the type of phone that is used.

And the Monster does not appear the same way, on the Live Map. It shows up as the Default Pink Wazer on the Live Map, even if the Wazer has applied the Monster mood.

Ah, that makes sense, since the art asset for the monster icon would be inside the Android APK or iPhone IPA file for the app.

I’m so pleased that I needed to share, I’ve just enabled the monster mood :smiley:

FYI, I’m based in the UK and I’m using an iPhone5

I finally got it…

But not using ASR mode to unlock the mood…

They have other way to unlock the mood…

Probably i’m going a little off-topic,
but I think is not too far :slight_smile:

Yesterday I saw on the live map some drivers with their normal mood and a little lamp ( :idea: ) on the bottom right corner.
Someone knows what is that? I tried to look for it in the web, but I could not find anything.

Hi,

That lamp on bottom right corner is a group icon which that driver is following or group icon of main group he is following. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1359974786.443662.jpg

I just got the HTC One and I’m trying to get my monster back. ASR can’t understand me when I say the secret word. Has the word changed? Btw, the three finger tap didn’t work on the HTC One, I had to the use the single wave to get ASR to open.

Still working for me (on INTL, if that makes a difference).

You have to disable the HTC gestures under ‘Settings/Display, gestures and buttons’ for the 3 finger tap to work on the HTC One.
