Hey editors! Shooting this post here since I don’t have permission to do so myself, but, in Fort Collins, CO, there’s some changes just made to AVIS systems which haven’t yet been updated on Waze.
Missing Red Light Cameras
- College Ave & Drake Rd (40.55257, -105.07714) on College, with cameras facing Northbound and Southbound (does NOT capture Drake Road’s EB/WB)
Incorrectly Marked Red Light Cameras
- Lemay Ave & Drake Rd (40.55213, -105.05802) only has AVIS 3-ways, NB, SB, and EB. The cameras do not detect violations westbound, but on Waze, the cameras are set up showing a 4-way camera system.
Additionally, all Red Light Cameras in Fort Collins have additionally become speed cameras as of 10/25/24. This change has not been updated in Waze. To make the update process simpler, here’s all of the camera locations:
