Hi,
I’ve looked through: http://www.waze.com/wiki/?title=Timeline_of_updating_process
And it speaks about a couple of days before your new roads appear in the live map.
However how many days/weeks does it take before you can find the new roads on a mobile device / live map?
When I arrived in Amden area. I updated the main road, ( Jul 25 ) I have refreshed my cache on my device daily but I still see a lonely staight line up on the end of the road to Arvenbuel instead of the correct road path I’ve added based on GPS points and “creating new road” on my mobile device and the many many roads I’ve added.
Did I overlooked a button that says, please commit all changes, or does the area manager needs to approve the edits?
Or is europe updating slowly and is it more in the area of weeks (11 days ago i’ve done the adding/editing) than a couple of days as mentioned in the FAQ?
Also the road from Zurich to Weesen is blocked just when you come from the highway and try to cross over the bridge over the highway, you can’t use it for a couple of months due to work on the bridge/street. On the other direction you cant go from Weesen to Chur that one is also blocked due teh same work on the bridge. I’ve added this road block several times and also telling it its for a longer time, but still Waze keeps on trying to use the blocked road the next day I pass by.
Is this because Waze does not take it seriously if only a single or maybe just a view people report it?
Thanks for your input
I can be patient however if I’ve overlooked something I rather know it fast
