Avoid Traffic option under Navigation-Routing

Dear all,

I am new here so I like to check with you all whether Waze app will avoid traffic by default during routing as I did not see the option on Avoid Traffic under Navigation, Routing menu as there are other options such as Avoid toll roads, Avoid freeways, Avoid ferries etc.

Besides, is Freeways referring to Expressway?
