I’m not sure if this is the correct place to put this (and apologies if it is not), but my address is not showing in the correct location on the map.
It is close, but Waze is sending delivery drivers down the wrong street, which is consequently confusing delivery drivers, who consistently call me, due to not being able to locate my house.
My address is 511 Fox Point Dr, Michigan City IN, 46360, and I have attached the relevant map, as it appears within the app. The “home” icon is where Waze is sending people, whereas the wedge is my actual location.
If I could get just a bit more information. The county GIS has not been updated to show plot addresses, and the available street views do not show any numbers on the buildings. Going north from Deerfield on Fox Point which building is your location, is it the First, Second, or Third on the east side of the street, guessing from the Arrow on the image it is either the second or third, but want to get it correctly located for you. As we have no house numbers we pull data from Google and someone has an address pin to the north and have it listed as 506. This is why Waze is routing close to that other address. If we can get an address pin on the correct trailer for you we can at least fix that for you, as long as they are using Waze to navigate to you.
I have added your house number and a residential place point to over ride googles data, and have requested google to add your address also. Unfortunatley I do now have any way to control if / when Google will update their info.
or it to show in your app you will need to delete the location from any favorites and out of any of your search history results, otherwise it will use cached data. When I used my app and searched for the location it now shows more to where you said it should.
