The A36 is closed in both directions from Beckington up to Bath. Waze is good but I do find it poor on road closures. Also Station road B3129 is closed in both directions and has been for some time.
As Waze is a community maintained map, almost everything on the map is added by volunteers who are users like yourself. Closures can only be mapped with advanced accurate information and editors with enough time to dedicate to this.
Having said that, the A36 is managed by National Highways (aka Highways England, Highways Agency, …), which we have a direct feed notifying us of their closures, in the case of the A36 we have been closing it each night as they inform us of the active closure, it appears we were a little late in confirming the closure last night;
29th - Informed closure started 19:54 (SB), 19:56 (NB)
29th - Closure mapped 21:36 (SB), 21:39 (NB)
29th - Informed closure removed 23:41 (SB & NB)
Why it reopened earlier than the 6am schedule we haven’t a clue.
As for Station Road, I think you mean the section through Flax Bourton, I can’t find any details on a closure with a quick Google search, can you provide any details :?:
