Blocked From Adding Places In-app

Hello everyone!

For a little while now my account has been blocked from adding places in app due to being flagged by the community. Has been for at least a couple years. I had inquired about it before in a local chat once and at the time no one was able to help, so I just ignored it. However, it is annoying not being able to use my account to snap pictures of changes to gas stations and the like, and not even know why I was flagged to begin with, so I am looking into it again.

Went to the “Help” section of the app, which ultimately pointed me in the direction of the community. What should I do?

Hey Alan,
I don’t see any block on your account under APettyJ going back several years. Is that the username you are using? What message do you get when you try to add a place?

Hi! I’m having this problem too - what can I do about it … it’s so annoying!

I’m not seeing a block under that username. Do you have another username and do you remember when the block started?
And what is the error message you are getting?

Sorry for the late reply - my account is still flagged for posting places. It started more than 3 years, maybe 4 years ago.

Have you changed usernames since that block?

You should contact one of these local leaders to find out why you were blocked and to work with them to get unblocked: CoolCityCat, paulkok_my, or Kadyus.
