As your editing level does not allow closures, it has been done for you - although the closure I found on one.network does not correspond to your permalink but is further along Kennel Lane between Hazel Way and the private drive to Nos 25A/27A. This one has been in operation since 5th.June!
Your segment is expecting work later in July with controls.
Closure already in place, which is on this segment a bit further North - this matches the one location.
It’s not showing on Waze maps though
Do you have your closure layer turned on in the top right menu? My linked segment is definitely closed until 23:59 on 10th July 2023.
It’s now showing on Waze app as well as the map, shows it was made 25mins ago
Apologies for confusion. My comment referred to the one.network information for the closure, not that it had been on Waze from that date.
The closure was added in response to your request and was being investigated by two editors at the same time, who’s comments crossed over.
I forgot abour the closure when I got home, it’s only when waze tries to push you there that you remember. It’s just dumb they won’t introduce the closure option on AA
Reporting closures on the Waze app is still only really for short term closures. Anything longer term will still need adding in the map editor.
You’ve posted an image with no context! Where is this? What needs doing?
@OscarST3: From the disposition of the trees in your image, the closure has been relocated to further along Funnel Lane ,not where notified by one.network ‘Emergency’.
There will presumably be a need for a new road connection in the future assuming there is more than one property involved in the development.
