Your new segment isn’t actually connected to the main road, so will not be useable for navigation. Please connect this and ensure that all appropriate turns are enabled.

Can I also ask why you’ve added it as a Private Road? As per the editing guidelines on Wazeopedia here, unless it truly is a private road with no access to the general public, the Street should be selected. Please also add a speed limit to the segment.
