BP gas station in Diemen incorrect

  1. Explanation.
    I believe the current WAZE vs. actual address is incorrect. The first sign is when I enter in the search field the location parameter “Provincialeweg 6 1112 XT, Diemen”, and it returns “Provincialweg 6, Amsterdam”.

The second sign that something is wrong, now that I am researching on a desktop, is that upon clicking the result, at first it actually shows the one in Amsterdam (Provincialweg 6, 1108AA, Amsterdam) but it does find the Diemen version, too (albeit the zip codes do not match! >> I believe this is - at least in part -what’s causing the confusion in your system!).
WAZE doesn’t offer the BP gas station in Diemen as result on Android at all.

It becomes abundantly clear, however, when you cross-check the very same address in Google Maps and it leads you 3,6km away from the current WAZE destination. I learnt this the hard way when I was supposed to meet up with someone who gave me the “BP gas station” and the Diemen address as destination however he used WAZE (not MAPS) for navigation (and failed to verify that it is indeed a BP gas station address), and we ended up at 2 different locations.

I think there are multiple issues here.
If you are searching for the address Provincialeweg 6 Diemen you will end up at the address Provincialeweg 6 Amsterdam.
That’s because the address Provincialeweg 6 Diemen wasn’t added to the Waze map.
I fixed that by adding the address in Waze. In a few days it will be live in the app.
It’s best to search for that address again from scratch and don’t select it from your favorites or the history result.

The other issue is that when searching Provincialeweg 6 Amsterdam you will end up at Provincialeweg 6 Diemen. That’s a Google Maps issue.
I submitted a customization request to Google Maps the get that fixed.

If you will search for BP Diemen you will end up at the correct gas station.
