Bradford added 4 new speed cameras which will be stationary for the next 4 months before being moved to other locations… can these please be added?
- Simcoe rd and catania intersection facing north (located on east side of road)
- Professor day drive just north of west park ave facing south (located on West side of road)
- Holland st west infront of the marks work warehouse/canadian tire facing west (located on north side of road)
The other is in Bond head but im not sure the exact details
Line 7 - Between lallien drive and dixon road
Speed cameras in Waze have a countdown to the camera location. It would be ideal if you could give more precise locations (since the descriptions provided are areas that are possibly hundreds of metres long and would lead to further URs complaining about missing camera or “not there” when it fact it is still there, just not where we have it).
Once the exact location is confirmed (e.g. in person visit), often the best way to communicate the camera locations are GPS coordinates (easy to get those from Google Maps zoomed in and overhead view on – right click (or long press on touch devices) and click the lat/long coordinates to copy them to your clipboard).
I have placed the one on Holland with additional information from another reporter
GPS coordinates
Professor day, camera facing south
(44.1181251, -79.5814727)
Simcoe and Catania, camera facing north east
(44.1037865, -79.5678505)
Thanks for the coordinates.
These two cameras have been added to the Waze map. It might take a day or two to publish to your app.
Let us know when you can find the details for the fourth camera.
Most municipalities rotate a small number of cameras among a larger group of locations, sounds like Bradford is doing the same. For this reason, we document and keep the locations, so in the future locating a camera installed at a previous location is much quicker.
Camera on Simcoe St and Catania still doesnt show on the map… The one on professor day is showing though…
I believe the Holland st one is placed too far east… I found a map of the cameras online on the bradford website… even has the location of the fourth camera
https://stats.globaltrafficgroup.com/bradford
Also looks like they’re are using double cameras facing same direction in each spot… Below is a link/picture of the one on Professor day

I’m not sure what happened with the Simcoe & Catania camera. It looked correct, but just in case I nudged it and saved it again. After the next tile update (1-2 days usually), please check again.
Based on my experience with other municipalities, they don’t take too much care to put the pins in the exact locations. Perhaps Bradford is different than most, but I’d prefer to get an actual in-person sighting if possible. If you have seen this camera in person, I suggest using Google Maps, zoomed in, and with overhead images on to pinpoint the exact location, then right-click (or long-press on touch devices) to copy the lat/long coordinates and paste them here.
I agree, the photo in the bottom link shows two cameras installed in the same direction.
Well I know that the catania, professor day and holland st ones are accurate on the bradford site maps as iv seen them in person… The holland one currently on waze is too far east… Its more infront of the marks warehouse/public library as the bradford map shows…
GPS Coordinate’s for the holland st camera… drove by it today

Thanks, I have fixed that camera’s location
