Based on the website, I have updated the name to Spring Gardens Peoria. There is nowhere on the page that says “Spring Gardens Senior Living Peoria”
Website and phone number have also been updated.
Thanks Mike. We add the “Senior Living”. part into our name for search engines to help clarify what our business is. We have it listed as such on Google, screenshot attached.
Can you confirm that /peoria is included at the end of the website URL, too, please? We have 29 communities and the full URL is Spring Gardens Peoria
Waze isn’t a search engine, so we use the actual name.
Peoria is not on the URL because we use the primary domain for places, not localized URLs. This is to ensure functionality in the app, as well as ensure the URL won’t be obsolete if a company changes their localized URL format.
The actual name of the business is Spring Gardens Senior Living Peoria. I talked with my team and we agreed that we should change the header of the website to reflect this, see screenshot. “Spring Gardens Peoria” is just a shortened version that we commonly use because it’s easier to say. Can we please update the name to the actual business name?
And each of our communities is a separate business with different owners, we are just the management company. The primary domain isn’t going to be very helpful for someone looking for this location and is really going to affect their experience using WAZE.
