Is this a…:
Standard bug Steps to reproduce this issue:
When adding a house-number twice (but the both house-number has not been saved) and reverting that change while still being in edit-mode back, you are still not able to save your changes or process further. See the attached video.
First the browser console shows error
"/row-Descartes/app/Features?ignoreWarnings=false&language=de:1
When trying to save again it shows: “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 406 ()” (see attached image).
After trying to add some more house-numbers following message appeared Failed to save changes - Suggestion: Please review and try again. The error code, logged inside console, was “500” with bbox missing: {"errorLevel":"ERROR","errorList":[{"code":402,"details":"missing bbox parameter"}]}
After reloading the page the house-numbers are added to the map, although the error message was showing…
Thank you for your report. I have been able to reproduce this issue without scripts and filed an internal ticket to investigate this bug. I will keep you posted on the progress.
I just noticed in the video that I was trying to add and save a house number which has already been added and saved on that segment… I just didn’t notice it - forgot to put my glasses on . This would be a duplicate house number entry and the behavior of WME is fine then (in not saving duplicate housenumbers) → maybe there should be a separate message (and a new string) like “One or more added house numbers are duplicated.”. So I removed the video to avoid any confusion.
Is the internal ticket you created for the second post - error with bbox - then? This error occurred after trying to save a duplicate house number, which WME won’t let you rightly, and I reverted everything (back-button left handed the save button). You were not able to add any more house numbers after that. With that type of bug you need to fully reload WME in order to edit further.
Thank you for the clarification. The internal ticket has been opened for cases when you accidentally create two identical HNs, then try to rectify it by changing the number of one of those duplicates and it still won’t let you save. You need to delete both HNs in order to proceed. The way it happens is you create two duplicates, fix one of them before hitting ‘Save’ and it will still fail. After page reload, the HNs are not added.
Edit: The HNs are added upon browser refresh.
Reverting or deleting the duplicate HN (not changing it), should not cause the error, as long as you have not attempted to change it prior to that.
Hi, Please note it is also on NA server and has been discussed for a while on the New! A faster way to add House Numbers on segments discuss forum.
Looking forward to getting this one fixed. Thanks for the help in bumping its priority. Upvoted.
Let’s say you have a street with house numbers. If you first enter a number that already exists on the street and then change the number to a different one (that should save without an issue), WME errors out saying this house number already exists. I’ve disabled all scripts that automate entering house numbers and the bug still occurs. I think this also applies to production version of WME but gives a different error.
I’ve attached a screen recording so you can get the idea of the issue.
Thank you for your time,
Kacper.
