I’m a new editor who would like to try and add a few things here and there based on my own driving history. Namely, parking lot roads so Waze can give me directions to either the right or left when I’m leaving an establishment. If this doesn’t make sense, let me know, of course I don’t want to mess things up.
The problem I’m having is I can get my new (parking lot) road to snap to the main road. It works fine in practice mode, but not when I login. It is within my edit area since it’s somewhere I navigate to frequently.
I’m a level 1, is this something I need someone with a higher rank to do? Some other issue? Also, if there is a better place for newbies to ask questions like this please let me know.
You need to look at the segment that you are trying to attach to. If it is a L2 or higher road you will need to have another editor temporarily downlock that segment so that you can attach your parking lot road

Waze has standardized on using Discord as a communications platform, so you can see what editors in other states (or countries) are discussing as well as a focused view of CT.
