If the existing place has been taken over by a new management and there is name change, you may suggest name change thru the app and of course provide the latest photos for it.
Please go thru Place Update Request for more info on how to do it.
Once you have submitted your request to change, you will need to give us the permalink for the place to be approved before changes can be seen.
Feel free to ask questions if you are not clear here or better still post in FB group where the volunteer map editors are more active there.
