Changing my Work Address on Waze

Please let me know how to change my work address on Waze

Welcome to the Waze forums. Ideally we like to keep things South Africa map related in this subforum - your issue relates to the app. Given your colourful username I figured you MUST be a local.

Hi HugoAesthetics,

There are two ways to do it.

Option 1: (With a known location),

  1. Tap the Waze Character (bottom left),
  2. Tap your name (top middle),
  3. Scroll down and tap on “Home and Work”,
  4. Tap Work,
    5a) If you have it as a saved location, then simply select it,
    5b) If you know the address, then type it in, and select the correct one,
  5. Select Done (top right)

Option 2: (unlisted or unknown address)

  1. Via the Map itself, Zoom out, and then zoom in to your work location,
  2. Tap and hold onto the entrance of your work,
  3. when the location window pops up, tap the “i” (top right),
  4. Rename the location to “Work” < (Important)
  5. Select done.

That’s it.

It would be important to note that you first should search for your “work” address so it shows up in recent history, then swipe and delete that search history. From there, you can go back and do the above to re-add your new work address.
