Can I get the city of Wigston Parva created for Church Ln and have it connected to the B4114 ![]()
Also when turning off the A5 on the B4114 you get an “exit onto” instruction, I think this would be better as “turn left” if the angles could be adjusted.

Wigston Parva created and segment joined
As for the turning off the A5, I think I’m going to disagree and say it should be “exit left” - although there should also be a “turn left” at the end of the slip road because there is a give-way line there. I’ve made that correction.
The reason for preferring “exit left” is a subject I’ve been thinking about recently. The brief explanation is that the slip road is more than long enough to come to a complete halt, based on the speed of the main road (70mph), the stopping distance at 70mph (315 feet) and the length of the slip (420 feet).
Since your request has prompted me to put some numbers to this case, I think it’s time I posted the question on the forum with a view to maybe having some rough guidelines as to whether “exit” or “turn” is appropriate in these situations.
