"City" name type mid-Wales

Can the “city” at this Permalink (and surrounding roads) be changed from Cemmaes to Cemaes please? Drove through it the other day.
Thanks
Martin

Changes made.

Do you have access to the “secret” city list? I thought it was only the champs that could fiddle with that?
Thanks anyway
Martin

Nothing sinister going on! Just create a new city with the correct name on the first segment you change, then apply it to other segments as required.

Is this a spelling error? Should the city name be replaced rather than added? This is something L5+ can do.

Ah, perhaps this would’ve been the more ‘correct’ way to approach it!

I believe it to be a spelling error (or possibly evolution as sometimes happens in Wales) hence thinking a level higher than mine was required.

Road welcome signs not always 100% accurate, such as this example where Carmarthenshire mis-spelt it on the sign:spelling.jpg
Royal Mail, Geoplaces and OS have this place with two Ms so it’s probably the road sign that is wrong.

Edit: Geoplaces shows Cemmaes in English and Cemaes in Welsh :?

The road signage, the sign on the village hall, the name of the church and what the local businesses and residents call it confirms it as Cemaes. It can be ‘Anglicised’ with the extra M, but that should be the alternate address if it’s used, not the primary one.
