Waze had us detour off I-94 eastbound today at exit 13 and use Clay Street northbound. This street from Central to 15th Ave is in really, really bad shape. There are dozens of horrible pot holes. It was a good thing there was no traffic coming in the other direction. How do we suggest a map edit to Waze to advise that this very deteriorated road (although passable) is not a good choice – I almost thought we were going to blow a tire?
I know the road. The only penalty that would ordinarily be applied would be to call it unpaved - which is a lot closer to the truth. However, as bad as it is, it is still paved. Road conditions should be accounted for by the average speed of the traffic going thru there. I’ll check again, but there’s not much else we can do.
Gives me that road every time, I live near it. The only thing to do is to drive very slow on it
