The entrance ramp to Interstate 280 West from 8th Avenue and Clifton Ave in Newark, New Jersey has been closed and under construction since 2024, with no signs of it being open. This ramp is at 40°45’00.1"N 74°10’49.7"W.
Every afternoon, Google Maps and Waze navigate me to this ramp still. Please note this as closed so that Google Maps and Waze can be helpful in the evening commute in Newark.

What destination do you type into Waze and where do you start your route from so we can do some testing? This is closed in the app right now and should not be used for any routing

Are you using GoogleMaps or Waze? As mentioned by PasciakD this ramp is closed and waze should not route you over this ramp. I will try to add closure onto Google Maps as well.
Thank you, Waze now looks correct, but you are right to ask - as Google Maps is incorrect and still tries to route using this closed ramp.

Funny I thought Google Maps and Waze stole from, er I mean, shared information with each other! But I’m definitely more of a Waze fan! And appreciative of this Jersey specific forum.
