Hi, this segment of Bowood Lane, Wendover, Bucks needs to be marked as closed (or re-closed, it has only just been marked as back open again).
It has been closed since 2021 due to HS2 railway construction works and was due to be open again in ‘autumn 2023’, but there is no updated opening information on the HS2 website. I can confirm (as a resident of Bowood Lane) that the bridge they are building is still not complete yet, and I wouldn’t anticipate the road being open again to traffic any earlier than September 2024.
I would therefore suggest that the road is marked as closed until 31 August 2024, as I don’t see it being open before then, but will confirm if it does open before then.

The closure has been reinstated until Aug31 as suggested. One.network has it until 14thJune - do they know something or as this the assumption in Jul '23 when it was last updated?
In view of previous discussion on Bowood Lane, the segment leading to properties from the main road has ben left open even though One.network shows it as closed.
G**gle Maps does not yet seem to have caught up (yet)!
Thank you! I believe the June date will be an estimate. They look to be several months from finishing the actual bridge, and I believe the road may stay closed beyond that as they have a haul road crossing the lane at the moment. As I should know as soon as it’s open I’ll happily update this forum.
That’s correct, the part leading to the main road is still accessible. It took me a while to get the various maps updated to reflect that as delivery drivers weren’t making it to us! I have sent the request to Google Maps to update earlier today.
