Closure of Princess Basma Bint Talal Street

Hey guys,

The Princess Basma Bint Talal Street has been closed for a while now. They are in the process of installing a bus lane. Not sure when they will reopen. Would be great if someone with authorization could temporarily close it until it reopen.

Since you mentioned to ask if we need any help… There is a U-turn that has been closed for a while since people were using it illegally. It hasn’t be removed, but the police put cement blocks to block anyone from using it anymore. I had added a restriction, but not sure if it should be marked as closed.

I edited closures for the way blocked by the police, until the first of December 2016.
If necessary would extend the closure. !!

Looks like the closure on the Waze map for Princess Basma Street is gone, though the street is still closed. I have established closures in the streets indicated.
The duration is approximately one month.
If necessary extend the closing time more.

Thanks for the help. Considering how long it is taking them to finish the project, I think it will last much longer. I’ll get back to you in a month if it is still closed.

Hey guys,

The closure of the street has expanded a bit and at the pace they are going it will take a while. I would suggest closing the segments until the end of June. If it is still shut down then, we can extend the closure. Here are the expanded segments:
