Hi,

There’s a major roadworks just south of Grimsby which is going on until September 4th, at the northern turn from the A16 into Louth Road, Holton-le-Clay, here https://www.waze.com/en-GB/editor/?env=row&lon=-0.06667&lat=53.51190&s=70753559&zoom=7&segments=150118225

I’ve reported it via the app, tried to ban the turns into that segment for the duration of the works, but can’t ban the turn from the A16 into the village as I’m not sufficiently high permission, and I can’t close that segment. Result is it’s routing folk through there and they’re getting gridlocked by temprorary traffic lights which provide a pedestrian crossing.

Hi, welcome to the forum. Thanks for taking the time to post this up for us, and with a permalink too - perfect.

I’ve removed the turn restrictions as they take a while to become live in the app (days, sometimes weeks) and don’t have the visual benefit of showing the road is closed for casual glancing wazers scanning the map.

I’ve replaced them instead with a closure. these are live in the app instantly and show as a glaring red-and-white barber pole so obvious to all users whether routing or not.

Let us know if the reopen time changes so we can update the closure.
