Yesterday, on Tuesday, June 21, we had the first day of the first ever Communities Hackathon!
9 teams of Community and Waze staff members joined forces to create the next feature to be added to the Waze roadmap!
Excitement was high and the energy was amazing!
Today, June 22, we will have the second (and last) day of this Hackathon:
The teams will finalize their decks and prepare to wow the judges during the Presentations event, taking place tomorrow, June 23.
Next week, Waze Management will announce the 3 winning teams!
On the following Sunday, on July 3rd, the winning teams will present their decks for all the Community, during Office hours. Come cheer them along:

Wondering what happened with the first event Communities Hackathon since this last post?

On June 22, our 9 amazing teams met online for the 2nd day of collaborations. They completed their decks and made sure their presenters are ready to explain their idea to the judges.

On June 23, we held the Presentations Event, where many excited Community and Staff members joined online to watch the presenters of our 9 Hackathon teams present their SUPER interesting decks! Our panel of judges asked a few questions and were overall VERY impressed by the teams and ideas!

Our judges are now scoring the ideas! On June 29, they will announce the 3 winning teams! :arrow:
