The left turn from this link of N Eagleville Rd to driveway is prohibited.

Thanks for flagging this. Our street view photo from August 2019 does not show any signs prohibiting the turn. Did UConn or the town just install a sign?

I’m not sure when or by who. My son is a sophomore at UCONN living in Terry Hall starting this year (last year he was remote due to COVID). On move-in day I didn’t notice it, as it was light traffic and it was my first time there, so I made the turn. Going there on Friday and slowing for opposing traffic, I saw the sign.

Thanks for the clarification. One more thing to clarify. Some colleges will institute temporary turn restrictions during move-in and move-out periods to help with congestion. Those signs are often mobile and clearly not permanent. Was the sign that you saw bolted to a sign post or traffic signal? We don’t want to restrict traffic if it is only a temporary measure as our changes will not expire automatically. Since we have not had other reports of a restricted left turn at that intersection, it could have been only for move-in days.
