Costco Ad (for Christiana Mall) with wrong address

New Waze editor here…

Have a UR saying Costco “is here not 4 miles away”

I’ve determined that when using the mobile app and searching for Costco, a “Waze Ad” is placed at top of listing. It has an incorrect address of “900 Costco Dr, Newark DE” (instead of 900 Center Blvd, Newark DE) so people are being routed to some development street off Old Baltimore Pike instead.

Any way to fix this? Like contact someone at Waze to fix the ad? Or put an alias/fake address on the location of Costco to fake navigation to the right place until the ad goes away?

ps, I’ve always been a road geek since I was a kid (40 years ago) so this sort of thing is pretty exciting to me. I’m very eager but don’t want to be “jolly” either, so anyone in the area please feel free to steer me back on the right course if you see me doing it wrong. I haven’t made too many edits yet since I’m spending most of my time reading the wiki and proceeding very slowly unless it’s very obvious what to do.

While on the topic of the mall, just north of that report there’s another UR of a left turn is not allowed. It was filed June 27th (Friday). That’s relevant because Friday and Saturday nights the mall restricts left turns at the junction from Center Blvd E. to the mall’s ring road as well as a few left turns into the parking lot along the ring road to the right.

Their navigation trace indicates they were routed to the left to exit the mall.

Is it appropriate to put a time-based restriction on those junctions? Or restrict them at all times?

Be aware that during the holiday season or other heavy traffic situations the mall can restrict this turn as well, so it’s going to be difficult to maintain this. So I think labeling this as a left-turn restricted will hopefully force navigation to send people down Center Blvd and out to the highway that way. However, it could instead just send them turning through the parking lot a few times instead – which would be stupid if the turn is not restricted at the time. To get around that you’d need to restrict left turns pretty far up the ring road. Which ugly hack? Or none?

Thank you, form submitted

Edit: Ugh, and that was a sticky post too. Not sure how I didn’t see that. Sorry

Now about the other issue regarding the mall left turns. Any objections if I put a time-based restrictions on those left turns?

Scratch that extra natter above about the Christiana Mall left turn restriction. I took a trip up there tonight and they are not doing that. Left turns are fine. So no idea what the UR was about.
