Could not find a route

I’m trying Waze for the first time in over a year, but can’t get it to find a route. I’ve tried 3 addresses in Orpington and Swanley, but can’t get it to calculate a route from my home (in Richmond). My phone is a Galaxy S4, and it’s connected to the internet fine. I’m running Waze v3.7.7.0

Any ideas??

Sounds ominously like this:

We’re still working with Waze HQ to resolve this extremely annoying problem.

Are you located in a dead-end route and did you have a sat-fix?

The message “could not find a route” usually occurs if you are trying to navigate out of a street (segment) that doesn’t have an end node. If you give a permalink or an address we could check the map for problems.

PS: If for any reason you don’t want to post your address in the forum you can PM to me or any of the country managers (CM) in your area.

I’m in a pretty central location in Richmond, and not in a cul-de-sac. My postcode is TW10 6QE, and an example of a destination that it couldn’t find a route to is BR8 8NZ (Cranleigh Drive in Swanley). Another failed destination is Masefield View in Orpington.

Those cross (Greater) London routes are precisely the ones that can fail. If you try getting a route at 2300 (using livemap) it works ok. I find this extremely frustrating as I’m sure do you.
