I’ve been able to close the ends of SH79 (Geraldine to Fairlie) affected by a bridge washout http://www.journeys.nzta.govt.nz/traffic/roadclosures/202443 however because I’ve not driven that road recently with Waze active, I’m not able to set up the road closure for the relevant part of the road. I’m not seeing an area manager for that section - yet - but this post ticks off my “using the forum” requirement

Thanks - I’ve actually undone my ones and left your one there. Despite NZTA reporting the “entire” route closed, I can only see reference to the bridge which is damaged and so the rest of the road will be technically routable.
Not sure for how long, I will check it on Saturday.
I’ll keep an eye on it after the weekend if it’s still closed and take it over. I have access to that particular part of the map.
