Just a suggestion - I think having a dead end option would be helpful. I know there are some places where roads are close together but they are actually dead ends, and several of the streets in my neighborhood are also dead ends.
As long as the roads in question aren’t connected and each one is not unterminated (meaning it should have an end node) it shouldn’t be an issue.
