Hello / Good evening to those who read this :slight_smile:

Currently an SM in the 84 and an AM in the 26 and 38 for several months now, I have been able to gain a good understanding through these experiences of what managing an entire department entails. I have been able to start updating the department and continue to do so, whether through drives or URs. I would like to take on even more responsibility and add the Drôme, a department close to my heart, as an SM. I’ve noticed that many places, especially those in remote countryside areas, are not up to date, and I would like to be able to remedy this. I am well aware that having an additional full department to manage involves a lot of work, but I am ready to take it on.

Still under supervision, I’m keeping a close eye on him.

He is good, serious, and eager to learn.
A few very minor issues with angles, but he’s staying vigilant.

The workload is massive in these two departments, but he’s motivated, asks plenty of questions, and requests demos.

He wants the Wazer to be well-guided.

Hello! The sun, the beach, the warm sand, the heat, and let’s not forget the TDF are all in full swing, but this SM request was left behind at a highway rest area and is unfortunately feeling all alone…

It came back to me to ask why nobody wanted to pick it up.

(Jokes aside, I’m just checking in for news, even though I know that with the holidays etc., response times are longer :innocent:)

Hi Cyril_bzd,

My bad, I’ve been a bit lost professionally over the past 3 or 4 weeks and haven’t had the time to get back to you.

After some discussion, it is proposed for now to:

  • either swap the department where you are SM with your preferred department.
  • or keep the current SM and discuss it again at the end of the year / beginning of next year.

This is because SM 84 is very recent.

I prefer to keep my current SM. Since DrĂ´me already has an SM and I also have my AM area in addition to my drive area there, I can continue to update the map a bit on that side. Vaucluse also really needs a huge cleanup, so it would be very negative to no longer have editors dedicated to this area.
