I suggest denoting controlled access roads vs open access roads.
Basically, open accesss roads have driveways/property accesses while controlled access roads don’t. This is important for those who want to minimize interaction with school buses.
So i’m proposing that while the existing five classes of road stay in place, I’m suggesting that all 5 line color types be drawn with an outline hat is black on day mode and white on dark mode for any CONTROLLED access roada. Open access/UNCONTROLLED acess would NOT have any outline.
I got this idea from a map of France I got while I was over in France back in 2011…
