I see that it’s already been resolved, but for future segment unlocking needs, keep in mind that instead of requesting an unlock, you can perform the edit normally, and when you save, you’ll receive a message that the edit is going for review by more experienced editors. Once approved, you’ll earn your points as usual for your contribution.

Thanks for the tip @EsdrasFarao, but not every change I make to locked segments enables the option to request approval.
Some examples: creating an intersection on a segment with a higher level than mine, or editing a segment connected to another one with a higher level than mine.
In these two cases, it doesn’t even give the option to save or request approval.
It simply shows a message saying I don’t have permission to edit the segment.
That was exactly what I needed to do.
I saw that in the link you sent me it says exactly that, but this will be available soon.
