I have seen a few posts regarding the possibilities to make more advanced route plans, including multiple stops, reordering of stops due to changeing traffic situations or whathaveyou.
I can see how tricky that might be using the mobile phone.
But would it be possible to make that a problem that can be solved using a server connection? I am thinking in terms of sitting at your desktop and making not only one but perhaps many route plans, perhaps even with multiple stops and conditions for reordering the stops, through a website. The routes that have been processed can then be exported to your handheld device. There should be some route data file format, I guess?
Not only that. You would also be able to share your planned routes with other users of waze. Let’s say your family, along with some other families plan to go on a vacation. By sharing the route data with other users it would make going together so much easier.
