Difference between "trip_charge" and "price"?

can someone explain the difference between the “trip_charge” and the prices in the “price” area?

I believe that the trip charge would be a one time charge for using the toll road, not including the section pricing.

The prices area under the “New Sections” and “New Prices” tabs is the cost for driving through a toll gantry for the Pay per Section option.
