Community Achievements
Giro d’Italia Closures
Congratulations to the Italian, Swiss, and Bulgarian communities for adding 33,500 closures to the map and connecting them to 23 traffic events before the start of the Giro d’Italia, a multi-stage cycling race. Thanks to you, 575,000 drivers received notifications, avoiding congested areas and staying safe during the event.
Updated Fuel Prices
A round of applause for our communities who played a vital role in our latest fuel price improvements: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Bulgaria, USA, Mexico, India, Argentina, Vietnam, Serbia, Thailand, and Singapore.
Together, you validated 71,000 PURs, significantly improving the accuracy and coverage of fuel price information.
Brenner Pass Closures
Applause for the German, Austrian, and Italian communities for springing into action after a local partner alerted them to an environmental protest on the Brenner Pass! Monitoring closely, they closed 400 segments along this essential Alpine route, helping thousands of drivers detour smoothly. A special thanks to German editor ChristophGP14 for leading this effort!
Stars of the Month
Meet Polish community members Falcon4Tech, Wcrhu, and MatthiasGor! They magnificently prepared their community for the Traffic Light Map Raid. Before the event, they checked the documentation, prepared clear instructions, and held several live training sessions for level 1 to 3 editors. They even wrote a specific WME script to help monitor progress and highlight help requests. Thanks to their leadership, the community mapped an incredible 10,600 traffic lights!
