I’ve run across a number of roads in the Dale City area, including primary roads and minor highways, that are divided by a median but are depicted on the map as a single line. If you’re familiar with Dale City, I’m talking specifically about Ridgefield, Hoadly, and Spriggs Roads. All three are divided, and all three are depicted as a single line. The question, for all the Waze gurus, are: (1) how do you decide when a road should be depicted in Waze as a divided roadway (when it is in real life); and (2) is this something I should coordinate with someone before embarking on a one-man mission to rectify this “problem?”

This should be required reading for all new map editors.
I take an active role in merging unnecessarily divided roads in my local area.
As a level two editor, I would only divide a road if it were required to provide proper navigation restrictions.
More often than not I find local streets (small roads) have been divided unnecessarily and those divided streets really overcomplicate the map and roadway management.
Consider the consequences of a road division before dividing.

You can select multiple road segments with the CTRL or Command keys (MAC) then use the Permalink button in the bottom right of the map editor to create a permalink to that selection.
